Annual General Meeting

When and where is the 2025 Annual General Meeting?

Pullen Pullen Catchments Group’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, 7 December 2025 at Pullenvale Environmental Education Centre, 250 Grandview Road, Pullenvale.

Guest speakers

As part of our Annual General Meeting this year we are very lucky to have two local fire ecologists and conservation scientists, Miranda Rew-Duffy and Diana Virkki, as guest speakers. Their presentation, Burning Questions: Fauna, Fire & Survival in Australia, will provide an overview of fire ecology in Australia, examine the complexities of how mammals and reptiles respond to fire, and highlight some of their recent work on the Collared Delma, a small threatened reptile species native to the Brisbane region.

Lucky door prizes

Draws for lucky door prizes will be made at the end of the meeting. These prizes have been generously donated by Pullenvale Ward Councillor Greg Adermann and the State Member for Moggill, Dr Christian Rowan, MP.

Members are strongly encouraged to apply for positions on the committee: these include President, Vice-President(s), Treasurer and Committee member(s).

Nominations should be made prior to the AGM using the forms provided. They can also be called for at the AGM for any positions that are vacant or have insufficient nominations.

If you are unable to attend the AGM, we would appreciate your proxy. You can nominate any PPCG member to be your proxy, including our president, John Ness.

Forms must be received by Wednesday 3 December 2025.

Copies of the Minutes for the 2024 AGM and the Financial Report for 2024/25 will be available at the meeting for perusal.

All financial members are invited to attend. If you’re not already a member and would like to be, you can join up at the AGM.

Afternoon tea

The meeting and guest presentation will be followed by a scrumptious afternoon tea provided by the PPCG Committee.
